CE Presentation Objectives:

  1. Describe the unmet needs in chronic pain management in the US
  2. Examine challenges confronted by patients and practitioners when managing patients with chronic pain
  3. Identify strategies to prevent misuse and abuse of opioids, while still providing effective pain relief

Continuing Education Accredited By:  New York State Council of Health-system Pharmacists

Intended audience: Pharmacists

The NYS Council of Health-system Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmaceutical education.  This program 0134-9999-12-034-L01-P will be accredited for 0.1 CEU’s (1 contact hour).  Statements of Continuing Pharmaceutical Education Credit can be obtained online at using a CE code that will be provided at the meeting.  All attendees have 60 days to process their CE credits.

This is a knowledge based program.

This program is free to all members of the New York City Society of Health-system Pharmacists that RSVP.  A $65.00 non-refundable fee for non-members is payable at the time of admission of you RSVP.  Non-members that do not RSVP will be charged $65.00.
