Breast Cancer Walk 2016

NYCSHP members came together on a beautiful Sunday morning to participate in the American Cancer Society “Making Strides of Central Park” Breast Cancer Walk Event.

Thanks to NYCSHP’s New Practitioners Committee, in collaboration with the Westchester County Chapter, over 30 member participants strolled to the starting line bright and early to support the fight against breast cancer.

The walk took approximately 3 hours and stretched 5 miles on a lovely scenic trail through iconic Central Park.

NYCSHP’s New Practitioner Committee raised over $2,100 for the American Cancer Society. This amount crushed our goal of $1500!

We would like to thank everyone who participated and donated to the event! A very special thank you goes out to the organizers: Drs. Harshal Shukla, Pavel Goriacko, Angela Cheng-Lai, President of the Westchester County Chapter of Health System Pharmacists, and our very own NYCSHP President, Dr. Jason Babby. We look forward to everyone’s continued support next year!
