The Fall Special Project CE Program was held at the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Podell Conference Room. Director-at-Large George Falbaum introduced all speakers and made announcements at the beginning of the program. The first speaker on that beautiful Saturday morning was Dr. Hanlin Li and her topic of discussion was Optimizing the Role of Pharmacy Extenders. She discussed the importance of the role of technicians and interns in the pharmacy.
Our next speaker was Assistant Dean at Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy Fernando Gonzalez and he discussed the law portion of the day’s topics.
Our last speaker was Dr. Alicia Williams who happens to be the founder and CEO of Fullsight Health Analytics. Dr. Williams discussed Artificial Intelligence Solutions for Healthcare Providers. Her discussion touched on artificial intelligence and how it is the wave of the future in many areas including pharmacy.
