Student Scholarship

The NYCSHP Student Scholarship is awarded to one NYCSHP student member in their last two professional years who submitted the best essay to describe what a pharmacy leader is with examples of their leadership experiences during pharmacy school.

Criteria: 

  • Nominee must be a NYCSHP (primary NYC chapter) student member and may nominate themselves or another NYCSHP member may nominate a deserving student pharmacist.
  • Eligible nominee must be in a professional year of their Doctor of Pharmacy program.
  • Nominee is encouraged to have experience working or volunteering in a health-system pharmacy practice (e.g. hospital, long-term care, industry, managed care, etc.).
  • Nominee must have attended at least two NYCSHP programs, including but not limited to monthly board meetings, continuing education programs, student programs, networking programs, etc.
