We enter September with our first Board of Directors meeting of our new year. This meeting was held on September 5th at Mount Sinai Hospital with a budget meeting immediately following our monthly meeting.
Each Director-At-Large and committee leader gave a synopsis of their progress with upcoming events. As always, some non-board members were present and we’re so happy to see the growing participation. Hopefully they’ll become future board members (wink wink). Our treasurer, Amber Johnson, let us know what our budget was and where we had to cut costs. A lot of number crunching which is a pretty grueling task but we made it through.
