October “Wellness for Wellness” MonthNYCSHP’s Well-Being & Resilience Committee collaborated with the Delaware Society of Health-system Pharmacists (DSHP) to support the Dr. Lorna Breen Foundation. This foundation focuses on healthcare worker wellness in honor of Dr. Lorna Breen, a New York-Presbyterian physician, who lost her life (suicide) during the pandemic. Some goals of the foundation include implementing well-being initiatives for healthcare workers, reducing burnout, and improving provider well-being. To learn more about the foundation please click here.

During this month, there were many exciting virtual classes taking place (i.e., yoga, meditation, nutrition, Barre3, circuit strength training, and mindful marathon training).
