The Outstanding Student Award is presented by the New York City Society of Health-system Pharmacists to an exceptional pharmacy student in their final year of their Doctor of Pharmacy program who has expressed dedication to health-system pharmacy.
Criteria:
- Nominee must be a NYCSHP (primary NYC chapter) student member and may nominate themselves or another NYCSHP member may nominate a deserving student pharmacist
- Eligible nominee must be in their final year of their Doctor of Pharmacy program
- Nominee is encouraged to have experience working or volunteering in a health-system pharmacy practice (e.g. hospital, long-term care, industry, managed care, etc.)
- Nominee must have attended 50% of the monthly membership meetings and programs
